Amla is traditionally used in Ayurvedic Medicine as a digestive tonic to increase appetite and aid in digestion (stomachic). Amla is traditionally used in Ayurvedic Medicine to help relieve symptoms such as heartburn and indigestion associated with Amlapitta (hyperacidity/dyspepsia) Used in Herbal Medicine as an adaptogen to help increase energy and resistance to stress (e.g. in case of mental and physical fatigue related to stress). Used in Herbal Medicine to help relieve inflammatory conditions of the gastrointestinal tract, such as gastritis in adults.

Contra-Indications:
Do not use this product if you are taking thiazide diuretics, cardiac glycosides, corticosteroids, stimulant laxatives or other medications which may aggravate electrolyte imbalance. Do not use this product if you have hypokalemia, high blood pressure, or a kidney or cardiovascular disorder.
